Partiremos de la Guatana para luego internarnos por los anchos callejones de Malbec y Cabernet, recorriendo decenas de olivares, paseando entre las grandes arboledas de eucaliptos.
Así emprendemos el comienzo del camino hacia el Río Mendoza, cruzaremos sus claras y frías aguas hasta llegar a Las Barrancas de Lunlunta.
En el camino, atravesaremos unas cortaderas y pasaremos por El Pajonal donde nos asombrará la pronunciada pendiente en 45º al subir, pero con nuestros criollos lograremos hacerla.
Aquí deleitaremos nuestra mirada al observar desde las alturas el majestuoso paisaje de los viñedos, adornados por el río y coronados con la imponente vista de La Cordillera de los Andes.

Laguna del Diamante

La reserva se sitúa 200 km. al Sudoeste de la ciudad de Mendoza, dentro del Departamento San Carlos. Fue declarada reserva en 1994. Posee unas 110.000 has y está protegiendo un importante sector de la cresta de la Cordillera Principal, en los Andes Centrales, que comprende al Volcán Maipo de 5323 m y la laguna propiamente dicha, a 3300 metros de altura. Esta laguna es uno de los principales reservorios de agua dulce de la provincia. El puesto de guardaparques se denomina Laguna del Diamante.

Eduardo Longoni is an argentinian photographer. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1959, and has worked as a photojournalist since 1979. His photographs of the military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983) have been exhibited in several countries in South America and Europe, as well as in Japan, Egypt, Syria and the former Soviet Union.

His books include: Aires de Buenos Tangos, Sabato Fotografías, El Poder de la Imagen, Apuntes sobre Fotoperiodismo, and
Poemas Revelados and Utopías en Foco on poems by the uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti.

His work has been awarded many times and he has developed an extensive career in teaching.

Prints of his photographs can be purchased at reception.
